OPS

"Operationen- und Prozedurenschlüssel (OPS) form the basis for performance records and performance accounting within inpatient care. They enable specific reimbursement, including the use of medical products. Furthermore, OPS are a fundamental factor in the further development of the G-DRG system.

The proposal procedure for admission or adaptation requests at the BfArM is opened annually at the beginning of December. The submission deadline is always the end of February in the following year. The content of the application should be coordinated with the relevant professional associations.
